A Week In Darts – August 29, 2023 – Sherrock Throws Nine-Dart Leg On Television Fallon Sherrock once again took all of the headlines in the world of darts last week as the ‘Queen of the Palace’ wrote her name into the history books with an incredible nine-dart leg on the Modus Super Series. Welcome to A Week In Darts – Darts Corner’s look back at all things darts during the last seven days. SHERROCK THROWS NINE-DART FINISH ON TV Fallon Sherrock made more history as she became the first female player to throw a perfect nine-dart leg on television last week. The 29-year-old first rose to fame back in 2019 by winning two matches at the PDC World Championship – the first woman to achieve that feat on the Alexandra Palace stage. Sherrock went on to break more new ground for female players, reaching the quarter-finals of the 2021 Grand Slam of Darts, as well as the final of the Nordic Darts Masters in the same year. In March this year, the ‘Queen of the Palace’ became the first female to hit a nine darter in the PDC, throwing the perfect leg in a Challenge Tour event in Germany. Her first nine-dart finish in front of the cameras came on Friday, throwing two 180s followed by a 141 finish in the sixth leg of her match against Adam Lipscombe in the Modus Super Series.
